How we help
Sleep, Fatigue & energy
“I haven’t slept well in years.”
“Not since having children.”
“I’m a shift worker, so my sleep has never really recovered.”
Maybe one of these sounds familiar. Or maybe your sleep issues look a little different — struggling to fall asleep, waking throughout the night, or feeling like you never quite get the deep, restorative rest your body needs.
Over time, poor sleep can wear you down. You may feel foggy, flat, irritable, or like you are running on empty — even when the coffee used to help.
You may have tried natural options like melatonin, or even medication prescribed by your GP. But if those leave you feeling groggy, heavy-headed or not quite yourself the next day, you may be looking for another way to support your sleep and overall wellbeing.
“Tired but wired” is a phrase many people use to describe feeling exhausted, burnt out, overstimulated or unable to maintain steady energy throughout the day — only to then struggle to switch off and sleep properly at night.
Your energy levels, mental clarity and sleep-wake cycle are all closely connected to the function of your central nervous system — your brain and spinal cord. This system helps control and coordinate the body’s many functions, including digestion, circulation, movement, hormones, stress responses and recovery.
Your spine plays an important role in this system. It protects the spinal cord and acts as a key communication pathway between your brain and body. When the spine is not moving or functioning as well as it should, it may place added stress on the nervous system and affect how efficiently your body regulates itself.
At Better., chiropractic care focuses on assessing the neurostructural system — the spine and nervous system — to identify areas of stress, tension, restriction or altered function. Where appropriate, our chiropractors use careful, targeted adjustments to help improve spinal movement, reduce pressure and support better nervous system function.
Our thorough assessment process is designed to help identify what may be contributing to your fatigue, poor sleep or reduced wellbeing, and whether our style of care is suitable for you.
Where clinically indicated, we may also use functional X-rays to gain a clearer understanding of your spine and identify any underlying structural factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
The information gathered during your initial consultation allows us to recommend the most appropriate technique and care plan for your individual needs. Our goal is to provide gentle, precise and results-focused chiropractic care tailored to your body.
