How we help
Headaches & Migraines
You have tried drinking more water. You have been told to get more sleep, but that can be difficult when the headache itself keeps you from resting properly. It can start to feel like a frustrating cycle.
Or maybe you have started calling your headaches “normal” because so many people around you seem to get them too — at work, at home, or in your family.
But frequent headaches and migraines should not be something you simply have to push through.
If you are living with recurring headaches, constant tension, or migraines that interfere with your day, it may be time to look deeper at what is contributing to them.
Headaches, migraines and brain fog can affect far more than your head. They can impact your focus, energy, sleep, mood and ability to get through the day comfortably.
Brain fog may feel like cloudy thinking, poor concentration, forgetfulness, mental fatigue or difficulty finding the right words. For some people, it appears alongside headaches or migraines. For others, it can feel like a constant background haze that makes daily life harder than it should be.
Headaches and migraines can have many contributing factors. In some cases, tension, restriction or poor movement through the neck and upper spine may be involved — particularly when symptoms are associated with neck tightness, posture, prolonged sitting, driving, desk work or regular device use.
Your spine and nervous system are closely connected. The spine protects the spinal cord and helps support communication between the brain and body. When areas of the spine are not moving or functioning well, this may contribute to increased stress on the surrounding joints, muscles and nervous system.
At Better., our approach is to assess the neurostructural system — the spine and nervous system — to better understand how your body is functioning and whether spinal stress, tension or movement changes may be contributing to your symptoms.
Where appropriate, our chiropractors may use gentle, specific chiropractic adjustments to support improved spinal movement, reduce mechanical tension and help restore better function.
Your initial consultation includes a detailed history, posture and movement assessment, spinal examination and, where clinically indicated, functional X-rays. This allows us to look more closely at what may be contributing to your headaches, migraines or brain fog, and whether chiropractic care may be suitable for you.
From there, we can explain what we find and recommend a care approach tailored to your individual needs.
